Gold Sales & Transparency

At Toofless Prospecting, transparency matters just as much as the gold itself.

All-natural gold recovery is unpredictable. Some seasons produce results, others do not. Because of this, gold is offered only when available and mostly as individual, one-off pieces. We do not mass produce, generally don't repeat stock, or guarantee future availability.

Natural gold listed for sale is genuine, has been lawfully recovered through small-scale prospecting operations, is usually sold as a single, unique item, will not be repeated or replaced once sold, when a piece is gone, it is gone.

Each gold listing includes clear, honest information based on what is reasonably determinable at the time of sale, including: approximate weight, general recovery location (region or district only, not precise coordinates), where possible - estimated purity, clear photographs of the exact item being sold, gold is not always assayed. 

Photography & Accuracy
Photographs shown on listings are of the exact item offered for sale.

We aim to represent each piece as accurately as possible under normal lighting conditions. Natural variations in colour and texture are expected with raw gold. Some images may have been captured using a light box. 

 

Pricing may reflect current gold spot price, the uniqueness or specimen nature of the piece, time, effort, and recovery circumstances.

Prices are set per item and are not negotiable once listed.

Shipping & Responsibility
Gold items are shipped using registered and tracked services.

Once an item has been lodged with the carrier and tracking details have been provided, responsibility for the item transfers in accordance with the carrier’s terms. Tracking information is always supplied.

In the event that you are awaiting an order and have not yet received a tracking number, please email us as soon as possible and one will be provided to you as soon as possible. 

No Guarantees of Future Availability
Gold recovery is irregular and dependent on field conditions. There is no guarantee that additional gold will be listed in the future.

When gold is not available, merchandise may still be offered to support ongoing prospecting operations and the sharing of the journey.
