FAQ
How often do you find gold?
Gold recovery is unpredictable. Some seasons produce results, others do not. There is no guaranteed frequency of gold availability.
Can I request a specific nugget size or type?
We do not source gold to order. All gold offered for sale is the result of natural, independent prospecting finds.
Are your gold pieces genuine?
Yes. All gold sold by Toofless Prospecting is natural and genuine, recovered through lawful prospecting activities.
Why don’t you offer change-of-mind returns on gold?
Natural gold pieces are unique, one-off items and cannot be replaced once sold.
This does not limit any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
How is gold shipped?
Gold items are shipped using tracked and registered services. Tracking details are provided once an item has been lodged.
Do you buy gold back?
Where practicable, purchasers of larger or harder-to-obtain gold nuggets are encouraged to offer first right of sale back to Toofless Enterprises if they later wish to resell. This is voluntary and subject to mutual agreement.
Why do you sell merchandise?
Merchandise helps support ongoing prospecting operations and the practical costs of running a remote, family-based operation. Merchandise may be available even when gold is not.
Why do some of your products come from third-party suppliers or manufacturers?Toofless Prospecting operates from remote Western Australia, where we balance family life, prospecting adventures, and running our business. For some products, we partner with trusted suppliers and manufactures to help bring our designs to life.
Using third-party fulfilment allows us to offer a wider range of products without needing to store large amounts of stock on site. It also means many items can remain available for purchase even when we're away prospecting, travelling or working in remote areas.
Another important benefit is quality control. Clothing, apparel, and similar from professional fulfilment facilities rather than being exposed to dust, heat, moisture, or other environmental conditions that can occur in remote outback locations.
Some products are shipped directly by us, while others may be produced and dispatched by carefully selected manufacturing and fulfilment partners. Delivery times may therefore vary depending on the product ordered and where it is being shipped from.
This approach helps us provide our supporters with a broader range of products while allowing us to focus on what we love most - prospecting, exploring and sharing the journey with our community.
Why do you offer Tenement Analysis Assessments? Independent tenement assessments are designed to help prospectors, small operators and buyers make more informed decisions before committing significant time, money or resources to ground.
Too often, decisions are made based on excitement, seller claims, nearby finds or surface impressions alone - without properly considering structure, geological plausibility, financial exposure, accessibility, historical workings or the realistic potential of the ground being considered.
At Toofless Prospecting, our assessments aim to provide s structured, field-informed perspective using publicly available and licensed datasets, combined with practical prospecting experiences and operational thinking developed over years of working and researching WA goldfields ground.
These assessments are not designed to "guarantee gold". They are designed to help clients better understand potential, risk, exposure and whether a piece of ground logically justifies further consideration or expenditure.
Why are Tenement Assessments so expensive? At first glance, professional tenement assessments can appear expensive - especially when compared to casual options, quick map lookups or general prospecting discussions. The reality is that structured assessments involve considerably more than simply reviewing a magnetic image or looking over a map.
Each assessment may involve; structural interpretation, historical workings review, financial exposure logic, satellite and terrain analysis, regolith and transport interpretation, data cross-referencing, risk assessment and professional report preparation and presentation. These assessments also draw upon years of field experience, operational knowledge, research and ongoing refinement of analytical methods.
Our pricing reflects time invested into research and interpretation, controlled intake capacity, professional report preparation, confidentiality obligations, time taken away from field operations, business operations and family commitments and the mental workload associated with detailed analytical review.
Most importantly, these assessments are designed to help clients make more informed decisions before committing potentially significant money, machinery, fuel, time or operational effort to ground that may not align with their goals or expectations. These are structured professional assessments - not casual options or quick map lookups.
Toofless Prospecting does not claim to be a geological consultancy, and we are not qualified geologists. Our assessments are independent, field-informed prospecting reviews based on publicly available and licensed datasets, operational experience and structured interpretation methods developed through practical field exposure and ongoing research.
